Robert Phillips has been training in martial arts since 1979, and started training in the art of San Soo in 1982.  Master Phillips opened Phillips School of Kung Fu San Soo in 1989 in Grass Valley, CA.  Since that time he has taught thousands of men, women and children the ancient art.  Phillips received his black belt at the age of 16, and then his eighth degree black belt / Masters in 1996.   Master Phillips has developed a number of Kung Fu educational programs which have been offered in almost every public school in Nevada County.  He has also taught self defense in colleges and junior colleges in northern California, taught special self defense programs internationally, and  trained law enforcement personnel. Robert Phillips has his AA degree in business, and his BA degree in Organizational Communications and Public Relations.
